The Royal Canadian Legion, General Chris Vokes, Bronte Branch 486

Reasons To Join Us….

The Executive and Membership of our Branch always welcomes new and old member at our Clubroom. The Clubroom is open to all members in good standing and is the hub of our in-house social activities and sports. Our facility supports darts, cards, snooker and shuffleboard. Members often participate in Zone events that promote friendly competition between branches and can include golf. Some of our members have participated on a Provincial level.

Branch 486 boasts a large rental facility called Victory Hall that can accommodate up to 150 people. These facilities are open to the community. Please see more info under the Victory Hall link.

The Royal Canadian Legion is the largest service organization in our province and we are self-funded by our membership. Through our fundraising efforts and our Poppy Campaign we look after the needs of veterans, their dependents  plus those still serving in the Canadian Forces. We support our community by funding youth programs, senior programs and other organizations both financially and by providing Victory Hall for meetings or community charitable events.
